The TMX Group - parent of the TSX Venture Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange - unveiled its 2013 TSX Venture 50® index earlier this week. According to its press release, the index includes a group of strong performing companies in five major sectors, including clean technology, diversified industry, mining, oil and gas, technology, and life sciences.
The top five performers on the list included:
- OPEL Technologies Inc. (OPL)
- Loyalist Group Limited (LOY)
- Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. (ZEN)
- Africa Oil Corp. (AOI)
- iCo Therapeutics Inc. (ICO)
