Vietnamese Economy Set to Grow in 2013

Economists are forecasting that Vietnam's growth rate will expand to 5.68% in 2013 under the likeliest of scenarios discussed at the National Center for Socio-Economic Information and Forecast this week. However, some economists warned that the export-driven economy would be subject to the recent turbulence of the global markets.

The forecast suggests that the eurozone will find its way out of the debt crisis, political and island sovereignty disputes would ease, the U.S. economy would enter a modest recovery, and Japanese growth would match its 2012 levels, according to an article in Saigon GP Daily.
